Positioned south of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Enjojo Lodge is arguably one of the best mid range lodges in the heart of Ishasha Sector where you can track tree climbing south of the Park.
Enjojo Lodge is located on large concession approximately 100 acres set in a groove of acacia forest trees of the Ishasha sector – Queen Elizabeth National Park. Herds of buffaloes, elephants, and black and white colobus among others can be spotted at the Lodge when you are relaxing.
The Lodge offers comfortable accommodations suitable for all visitors who come to track tree climbing lions at the Ishasha Sector.
Facilities at the lodge
In the main lodge area we have three thatched cottages and one Safari lodge, allowing a total of 16 guests, contributing to a quiet and intimate retreat. The cottages are interlinked with an elevated wooden walkway, and each room has an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower with hot and cold water. On the wide verandas, guests can relax and overlook the surrounding bush and savanna. Enjojo Safari Lodge can be booked by families are private groups of up to 7 guests and has its own little outdoor kitchen.
From the grass-thatched restaurant and bar, guests can enjoy the homemade food and the scenic beauty of a small natural lake.
Set away from the main lodge area in the middle of the acacia forest we offer budget accommodation in an African bush setting of bamboo huts and canvas tents. We also provide toilet, shower and cooking facilities for campers who come with their own tents.
The lodge is entirely constructed by local builders using local materials to blend in with the surrounding environment. Most of the furniture and decoration have been hand-crafted by the local community.
Enjojo Lodges is a special place seating on a large piece of land, big enough to take you on a guided walking safari on the grounds of the lodge. We can also arrange for game drives in and outside Queen Elizabeth Park in our open roof safari vehicle. Bicycles are for rent for guests who want to discover the life of the local community approximately 2 km away from the lodge.
