Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi national park

Depending on your location in Kigali city, the corporate guide will pick you up and transport you to Bwindi National Park, where you will pass over the Cyanika border to the Rushaga sector, which takes 3 to 4 hours. Lunch will be served at Chameleon Hill Lodge Luxury, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge Midrange, or Rushaga Gorilla Camp Budget.

After lunch, you will proceed on an afternoon nature walk in the forests beyond the park, where you will see Batwa settlements and enjoy wonderful landscapes. Following the nature walk, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking

Wake up early and have breakfast, bring a packed lunch and drinking water, and then meet your guide and travel to the briefing site in Rushaga sector, which has the most habituated gorillas in Bwindi National Park. After the briefing, you will go gorilla trekking with a certified park guide who will provide you with information about gorillas while you travel through the forests. Gorilla trekking takes 4 to 6 hours or less depending on where they reside and how they go from one site to another in quest of food.

After the gorilla hike, you will meet your guide and return to the resort for leisure, supper, and sleep.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali

You will get up early, eat breakfast, and then meet your guide, who will take you to Kigali via Cyanika border. You will have lunch en-route to Kigali.
