Day 1: Arrival of your international flight
Arrival of your international flight. Picked up by the 10 Day Gorillas and Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari private driver and transferred to a hotel Check in at the booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Travel to Serengeti National park
After an early breakfast at 6:00 AM, travel to Serengeti National Park, passing by the edge of Ngorongoro Crater and the golden savannah. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings along the way, as the Serengeti is home to zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalos, and many other animals. Enjoy lunch on a beautiful rock kopje, where you may have the opportunity to see the Serengeti’s famous pink-headed lizards. After lunch, embark on a leisurely game drive to spot even more wildlife.
Check into your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Today, you will continue your 10 Day Gorillas and Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari in Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic and awe-inspiring wildlife destinations in the world. Its stunning landscape has been featured in some of the most impressive nature documentaries, and its endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed.
The annual wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park, with more than a million wildebeest participating, is probably the highlight of the Serengeti. It is a truly spectacular sight to watch millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles thunder across the endless plains.
Together with your private guide, you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals, you will also get to see lots of other animals, such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more.
Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park.

Day 4: Hot Air Balloon and Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
A Serengeti balloon safari is an extraordinary opportunity to relish a bird’s-eye view of the phenomenal sweeping plains below. As your balloon drifts silently through the air, you’ll be treated to stunning views of a variety of wildlife, including:
- Dramatic striped black and white zebras
- Sashaying enormous grey elephants meandering to a waterhole
- Wiry warthogs foraging in the grassy scrub
- Subtle swishes of puffed golden tails revealing lions lolling under shady trees

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater with a visit to the Masai Village En-route
After a hearty breakfast, you will head out for a short game drive in the Serengeti at 8:00 AM. Enjoy the diverse landscape and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.
After a half-day game drive, you will have a picnic lunch before setting off for the Ngorongoro Crater. The 75-kilometer drive takes about 2.5 hours, with the opportunity to see more wildlife along the way.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most impressive geological attractions and a supreme mecca of wilderness. It is the world’s largest intact caldera and home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and cheetahs.
On this day, you will also have the opportunity to visit a Masai village. The Masai are a semi-nomadic people who live in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. They have a unique and fascinating culture, and a visit to a Masai village is a great way to learn more about it.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
On this day of your 10 Day Gorillas and Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari, you will have an early start. After a quick breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:30 AM.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 square kilometers with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive in the crater floor will give you the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including:
African elephants
Buffalo
Black rhinos
Hippos
Hyenas
Cheetahs
Lions
After a picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo Pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater.

Day 7: Transfer to Arusha
Culminate your Tanzania safari with a scenic 4-hour drive to Arusha, arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport by 2:00 PM, ensuring ample time for your evening flight to Kigali.

Day 2: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, your driver-guide will take you on a city tour of Kigali, including the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site and a local arts and crafts market.
Have lunch, then transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park is ranked as the best safari activity in Africa, and it brings you face-to-face with the world’s great apes.
After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing by park rangers about gorilla trekking. Then, embark on a journey into the thick forest, home to these magnificent creatures.
The ranger will lead you through steep slopes, narrow valleys, dense forest tracts, and river streams in search of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will have one hour to spend with these gentle giants. This is an awe-inspiring and thrilling experience, but it is important to respect the gorillas and their habitat.
After your Gorilla Trekking experience, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the iby’iwachu cultural village for local musical performances by a local musical cultural troupe.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Kigali for your departure flight to Arusha
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for the Kinigi Visitors Center for a briefing. With the help of park rangers, you will head to the park’s open fields to begin tracking the golden monkeys. Golden monkey tracking typically takes 1-2 hours, after which you will return to your lodge to pack up and transfer to Kigali for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport
