4 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour
The 4 Day Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda is a trip to Uganda’s Deep South west rainforest jungles, where the borders of Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda meet; a trip not soon to be forgotten. For it is there that the visitor will meet the rare and endangered mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the playful distant cousins, the chimpanzee troops in Kibale Forest National Park.

On arrival at the airport, a trusted private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda guide/driver will pick you up and transfer you to your booked hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Accommodation before the start of the trip can be included in the itinerary only at your discretion.
Day 1 – Entebbe/Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, start the long awaited Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda adventure with a 4-5 hour road trip to Fort Portal Town passing through some of the most beautiful green blanket countryside until you get to Kibale Forest National Park for your Chimpanzee tracking experience. You will stop over in Fort Portal for lunch and a brief tour around the Crater Lakes.
Arrive and check in at the hotel/lodge right in time for your evening dinner.
Day 2 – Chimpanzee Tracking Then Transfer to Bwindi
Early morning breakfast will be served at the lodge after which you will transfer to Kanyanchu Tourism Center for briefing and the Chimpanzee trekking will start at 8am. The chimpanzee trekking experience will take anywhere between 2-5 hours involving hikes through the forested landscape that covers vast chunks of Kibale National Park.
You will return to the lodge have lunch and check out to embark on another Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda road trip and exploration of the beautiful countryside till you get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where the gorillas are. This part of the road trip could take up-to 6 hours drive.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking Experience
Early morning breakfast will be served at the Lodge after which you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing for allocation of your Gorilla tracking groups and meeting the rangers.
You will connect to the trailhead and enter the forest on foot in pursuit of the gigantic primates that have come to be popular known as the Mountain Gorillas. The Gorilla tracking experience takes anywhere between 2-6 hours depending on the location of the Mountain Gorillas on a particular day.
You are allotted a time frame of one hour to stay with the Gorillas in their natural habitat and observe their peculiar habits as the young ones play about and the some feeding on leaves.
After your close encounter with the Gorillas, return to the Lodge and depart for Lake Bunyonyi where you will relax and can opt for some nature walks at the shores of the Lake.
Day 4 – Transfer to Entebbe/Kampala
Go on an early morning canoe rideto seal the deal on the 4 Day Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda and late morning checkout for your transfer back to the city.
YOu can opt to take a local chartered flight back to Entebbe or take on the road trip of about 9 hours. Brief stop-over in Mbarara for lunch enroute to Kampala /Entebbe
